Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
Refund and Return Policy at ALKIDO, each product is crafted with care — and we want you to love what you receive. If something isn’t right, we offer returns within 30 days of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. You’ll also need to provide proof of purchase (receipt and order number).
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as perishable goods (e.g. products with botanicals or fresh flowers), opened or used body scrubs, oils, or bath salts, burned or used candles
cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Sale items marked as final sale
- Items that are visibly handled or no longer in sellable condition
- Products with tampered packaging or missing safety seals
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Items returned with damaged or incomplete packaging
- Returns made after the 30-day window (if approved)
- Products that are no longer in pristine condition (but unused)
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customerservice@alkido.ca.
Sale items
Only regularly priced items are eligible for refunds.
Items marked FINAL SALE cannot be returned or exchanged.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@alkido.ca.
Shipping returns
To return your product, please first email us at customerservice@alkido.ca. We’ll confirm your return request and provide detailed instructions, including where and how to send your item.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
