About us

Rooted in Toronto. Made for everywhere.

About us – ALKIDO is a proudly Canadian brand, handcrafted in the heart of Toronto, Ontario. We create eco-conscious self-care products designed to elevate everyday rituals — without the waste, the fluff, or the chemicals.

We’re more than a shop. We’re a mood, a mindset, and a rebellion against the boring.

Our Story

We started with a flame. Literally.

ALKIDO began with candles — hand-poured in our Toronto kitchen, crafted with soy wax, cotton wicks, and bold scents that refused to blend in. What began as a creative spark quickly turned into a growing line of self-care products built around intention, design, and ingredient integrity.

From there, we expanded — into bath salts, spa mixes, essential oils, scrubs, and curated gift sets — each one made with the same care, clean formulas, and unapologetic style.

We didn’t set out to follow the market. We set out to make something better. Something we’d actually use — and be proud to share.

OUR VALUES

At ALKIDO, we don’t cut corners — we craft with intention.

ECO-FIRST: Every formula is natural, every detail considered — right down to the packaging.
CANADIAN-MADE: Proudly formulated, poured, and packed in Toronto.
BOLD BY NATURE: We don’t follow trends — we create experiences.
CRUELTY-FREE: Always.
SMALL BATCH, BIG IMPACT: No mass production. Just good products made well.
DESIGN MATTERS: You’ll want to keep the bottle — and reuse the bag.

WHY ALKIDO?

Because you’re not basic — and your self-care shouldn’t be either.
Whether you’re lighting a candle to shift the vibe or soaking in a salt bath after a long week, ALKIDO is here to elevate your moments — one product at a time.

We’re Toronto-grown, community-rooted, and obsessed with making wellness look and feel as good as it should.
